Glenmorangie Plc said earlier (when the news of the sale initially leaked out) that they were discontinuing almost all blended whisky-brands in their portfolio – since their focus is on the luxury brands (i.e. Single Malts).
I haven’t got any detailed information on which (if any) blends will be kept, but Muirhead is one company asset that’s at risk at being sold or just be shut down.
